On the Beach said 2019 “is a big year for non-euro destinations, perhaps suggesting that with the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, many people are looking further afield to destinations which may offer cheaper in-resort costs”.
Portugal is the fourth most popular summer destination, with Cyprus replacing Malta in fifth place.
Alan Harding, On the Beach marketing director, said: “There are still some great value last minute holidays available for those who have yet to book their summer break, with holidays in Turkey available for just over £200 per person.
"If Brits can be flexible with their departure date and destination, there are some fantastic bargains out there.”
He added that Dubai was the brand’s fastest-growing seller this summer.
