The only exception is the adventure specialist operator’s 29 May Norwegian Arctic Encompassed itinerary.
“The health and safety of our travellers and staff is our main priority and this is a necessary measure to protect our travellers and our people at this time,” said G in a statement.
Any traveller booked and fully paid on a tour departing between 16 March and 31 May 2020 will receive a 110% travel credit on all booked tour services.
This includes pre- and post-night accommodation and transfers and can be used on any tour departing up to two years from the end of the month of their tour’s suspension.
Customers who have not yet made their final payment will have their lifetime deposit kept on file to put towards a future tour.
G said it was “proactively notifying all travellers” regarding their tour suspension and advising travellers with flight bookings to contact their insurance and air providers directly for details on compensation.
The operator thanked its “global community of travellers, agents and partners around the world” for their commitment in these times of uncertainty.
“We still believe in travel as a force for good and look forward to returning to operations as soon as it is safe,” the company added.
