From Monday (15 June), terminal operating hours will increase to 6am-10pm.
EasyJet, Wizz Air, Ryanair, Belavia, Vueling and Blue Islands will resume flights.
Hand sanitiser stations, protective screens, regular deep cleaning, and social distancing will be introduced and enforced throughout the airport, while face coverings will be mandatory.
Gatwick closed its North Terminal at the end of March.
Chief executive Stewart Wingate said the safety and wellbeing of passengers and airport workers remained Gatwick’s top priority.
"We have introduced a range of new social distancing and hygiene solutions to help this happen so we can all help protect each other when travelling through the airport," he said. "We want people to understand airports and air travel is a safe environment in this Covid-19 travelling world."
Wingate added: "The recent government announcement regarding the 14-day quarantine period for passengers arriving into the UK is, in our opinion, already having an impact on the start of air travel recovery.
"We accept the government’s absolute priority is the protection of public health, but we continue to push for regular, country by country reviews of quarantine regulations, based on medical evidence.”
Gatwick’s new guidance will be published online and will be available via its app, and reinforced by physical signage and a new film.
