Shropshire-based Edwards will work with independent agents and her appointment takes Jet2holidays’ trade team up to 18 people. She will report to regional sales manager Simon Marshall.
Edwards has spent the past four years at independent agency Polka Dot Travel and was most recently branch manager of the Shrewsbury shop. Before that she worked for Tui for eight years.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Jet2holidays trade team and am looking forward to helping independent travel agents take advantage of all the opportunities that are out there to drive more sales and win more business,” said Edwards.
Jet2holidays has also boosted its trade team with the recent appointments of Sasha Stokeli and Jason Cullen as trade sales executives, and Oliver Sherwood as trade sales analyst.
