Its Spanish staff had been due to walk out on Thursday (January 10) and Sunday (January 13), which would have affected a number of Ryanair flights.
However, the USO and Sitcpla unions confirmed on Wednesday (January 9) it had finally come to an agreement with Ryanair following some 14 hours negotiation.
Proposed strike action on Tuesday (January 8) was called off late on Monday evening after a positive start to the talks.
The dispute revolves around what the unions described as Ryanair’s reluctance to employ cabin staff in accordance with the Spanish law.
A joint statement by the unions said the agreement was the result of 18 months debate, adding Ryanair workers in Spain would soon “fully enjoy their rights as citizens of the European Union”.
