The group will be known as Esken if shareholders approve the change in a vote on 3 February.
Stobart Group sold the Eddie Stobart and Stobart trademarks and brands to Eddie Stobart Logistics for £10 million last May.
The sale is designed to help investors and others distinguish between the Eddie Stobart trucking and logistics business and the Stobart aviation and energy group.
As well as its airport and airline interests, Stobart also has an aviation services business which operates at Stansted, Southend, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
Southend and Carlisle airports will retain their current identities and Esken’s aircraft will still fly as Aer Lingus Regional until its contract ends in January 2023. Stobart has previously said it intends to quit the airline side of the business.
Stobart said the transition to Esken would take place by the end of February 2021.
