Jason Oshiokpekhai managing director of Protravel International, Tzell UK, Scotia Travel and Colletts Travel, told TTG Protravel and Tzell had enjoyed “meaningful growth in a challenging environment”.
He added Travel Leaders, which bought Barrhead Travel last year, was focused on growth but wanted to approach recruitment in “an organic way”.
“I think we have the right amount of space for the next chapter of our growth... but I’m keeping a watchful eye on expanding further.”
It came as the group welcomed “a new chapter” for its UK-based arm after expanding the HQs of Protravel and Tzell.
The companies’ central London office, at 101 St Martin’s Lane, has grown from accommodating 74 staff to 124, and now takes up the entire first floor of its Charing Cross base.
Oshiokpekhai added how the office expansion had been driven by more of its agents wanting to work out of its central London base.
The revamped office, revealed during an event for staff and partners last week, includes more informal office and boardroom space as well as areas to hold workshops, as requested by agents.
Specialising in luxury leisure, corporate and entertainment travel, Travel Leaders Group UK also includes Altour International.
